DISTRIBUTING THE GIFTS

Kampong Tham Province

On March 28, 2012 the network disaster risk reduction at Sandan district was able to raise support from the local church and the department to buy the following: meat, noodle, fish sauce seasoning. This was distributed to 11 families who lost their homes in a fire on February 26, 2012 at Prasat Andet village, Sandan commune, Sandan district in Kampong Thom province. All their properties were destroyed by the fire. The network decided to help these victims with whatever possible, including providing shelter to them. At that time Mr. Sat Theach, chef of the village, expressed his thankfulness to the Christians, who always care about poor and needed people. In addition the department has given support to the poor church members, in order to keep their operation running.

The network continues to get together in faith praying for God’s healing on Mrs. Mai, who is the wife of Pastor In Yoeurn’s. She has had a chronic illness for long time, and the network prays that God will give strength to her and her family.
