INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

On March 8, 201 2 EFC Women Department celebrated International Women’s Day at Chompok Kek village, Prek Tmery commune, Khensvay district, Phnom Penh. Totally 85 people participated from churches of many provinces around Cambodia. During the celebration there were different activities such as; sharing from the Bible, explaining about Women’s Right Day by the local authority, playing games, sharing gifts, singing special songs, sharing testimonies, praying and sharing food. The purpose of the celebration was to strengthening the relationship between women from each church, having fellowship with the families who are not Christians, increasing women’s understanding about their values and rights. Also the purpose was to encouraging the participants to apply their rights and values to serve their families, churches and communities. The result of the celebration was that participants were blessed and happy with a special fellowship with churches and families.
